Dr. Beardsworth is the Chief of the C2 Core Branch, Joint Data and Services Division, at US Joint Forces Command (JFCOM). There, he provides strategic direction for development of enterprise data and service standards, processes and products, supporting the goal of C2 interoperability for the DOD C2 Capability Portfolio and the JFCOM Joint Capability Developer. Notable examples include the C2 Core and contributions to the Interagency Universal Core. He was previously Co-Lead for the Time Sensitive Targeting Community Of Interest (COI). Before reporting to JFCOM, Dr. Beardsworth worked on information assurance and computer network defense for DOD, major program T&E for the Department of the Navy, and is a retired Navy Officer. He is a Senior Research Scientist with the Georgia Tech Research Institute, has been an adjunct faculty member with several universities, and is “on loan” to DOD through the Intergovernmental Personnel Act.
