 Mark Fink 

Chief Enterprise Architect
PACOM

Mark Fink is the Chief Enterprise Architect for US Pacific Command (USPACOM) serving in the Strategy and Architecture Branch, C4 Strategy and Integration Division, Communications System Directorate, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. In this capacity, he leads the Enterprise Architecture development for Joint Information Environment – PACOM (JIE-P). JIE-P is USPACOM’s strategy for implementing Global Information Grid 2.0 characteristics across the USPACOM Theater.

Mark joined the Department of Defense in 1984 working for the Defense Mapping Agency – Aerospace Center (DMAAC) – now referred to as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). After 5 years he moved to Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), Colorado Springs, where he worked for 15 years as the lead Space & C4ISR Architect and was an early adopter of the DoD Architecture Framework and web-based information sharing technologies. Mark moved to Hawaii in 2004 as a Division Chief with Air Force Pacific Command (PACAF) working Information Management and Strategic Planning, three years later he accepted his current position with USPACOM/J62 in 2007.
